Weight Loss Plans: What’s Behind the Cabbage Soup Diet!

January 22, 2012 @ 9:50 pm
posted by Vickie

I read everything that I find on “weight loss plans”.  Recently, I came across an article about the cabbage soup diet.  You may remember that in my article on my website (http://www.weightlossplansnow.com) I commented on this diet.  I actually tried it several years ago!  I didn’t even know it was still around. Here is what an expert had to say:

For a solid week you get to eat as much of it as you want (along with a few low calorie foods) to help lose 10 pounds.   Problem is that it doesn’t help you manage your weight loss at all.

How it works is that people lose a lot of weight because of the diarrhea that comes a long with it.  Your aren’t getting any calories.  You also get bloated  from a very restrictive diet.   Your poor stomach doesn’t know what happened to it. So, leave it alone.  You will put the weight back on very quickly too.

Weight Loss Secrets: How long should you stay on a diet?

Here is a “weight loss secret” that I wanted to pass on.  It has to do with the length of time that you stay on a program.

I am sure that everyone’s resolution had something about losing weight or eating healthier.   Well, researchers have found that sticking with something for 5 weeks is more likely to turn it into a habit, a lifestyle change.  During the 5-week period, there seems to be a shift from initial voluntary control to repeated habitual behavior.

So, if you can stay on a program for 5 weeks, you are more likely to continue it.

Hope this helps.

32 Year Old Ditches Weight Watchers, Eliminates Her Love Handles, Flattens Her Stomach And Loses 11 Lbs …

Before this, I tried Weight Watchers before and got OKAY results with that. But once I tried Vic’s program I finally got REAL results and lost 11 lbs.

My favorite part of the workouts was that I got to do something new each and every workout. Plus they all took me less than 15 minutes to get done…

My family and my husband have noticed major changes in how I look and they couldn’t believe how quickly it happened!”

Hope everyone is sticking to the “31 Day Fat Loss Cure” program.  I know it can be tempting to cheat a little at times.

I have had a few cheats this time and it is affecting my weight loss.  I am keeping the same weight or only losing 1 pound at a time.

I need to get back on track and would appreciate feedback from others to keep me on the straight-and-narrow.

So come on–let me know how you are doing!

f31 Day Fat Loss Cure: What Food Saves Me!

Yes, I have to confess.  If I didn’t make this, I would be helpless in staying on my “31 Day Fat Loss” plan.

Ok, I will let you know my secret.  I make myself a fruit salad every day (usually it’s enough for 2 days/just separate into 2 containers).

I use:

1 apple (diced)

1 orange (diced)

1 bananna (1/2 added fresh each day sliced)

grapes (to your liking cut in half)

and usually strawberries or whatever other berries I have around.

And, the number one ingredient is walnuts (cut in small pieces)!  This gives you the protein you need to offset the sugar of the fruit and it makes it taste great!

I eat it whenever I feel hunger coming on  or just to give myself a real treat.

Hope this helps you.

Retails Salesman From Great Britain Loses 22 Lbs Of Fat!

Vic, just wanted to say that today marks the end of week 4 for me since finding your site. I started this program a month ago, and in 4 complete weeks I have lost 22lbs! The sad part is that I could have lost more, but I only exercised about 50% of the days I was supposed to.

31 Day Fat Loss Cure: Update on 2nd Month

January 14, 2012 @ 10:53 pm

I started on the 31 Day Weight Loss Program again Monday, January 9, 2012.

As  of today, Friday, January 13, 2012, I have lost a total of 20 pounds using the “31 Day Fat Loss Cure”.  The exercises are much easier than they were the first month I was on it.  Also, I didn’t gain back any weight during December!!

So, 20 pounds in 36 days is not bad (especially taking a month off in between).  And I must confess that I cheated a little this week or it would probably be more.  I am going to stick to the plan next week and expect to see even more weight loss.

Remember that I can only do the senior with some injuries exercises due to my knee.  I firmly believe that I would have lost even more if I could do just the beginner exercises.  And, don’t let your age get in the way–I am 60 and it’s working great for me.  So, come on and get with the program.

31 Day Fat Loss Cure Update

OK.  It was a bit rough today.  Carbs are my enemy.  After consuming them in abundance over the weekend, it was a little rough going to give them up today.

I hadn’t really been that drawn to them since my first “31 Day Fat Loss Cure” program.  It shows me how additive they really are.  I really plan to watch them in the future and not give in to my cravings.   I really felt lethargic today and cloudy headed.

So, if you have been watching eliminating them in your diet, don’t let them take over again.

Hope everyone else is doing fine.
